Employment Opportunity – Home Caregiver

• Assist elderly or recovering clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
  
  
• Provide personal care: bath/shower support, clothing, and grooming.
  
  
• Support with household chores: light cleaning, meal preparation, laundry and running errands.
  
  
• Remind clients to take medications as directed.
  
  
• Assistance with mobility within the home and during outings (medical appointments, walks, shopping, etc.).
  
  
• Make personal purchases from the customer and maintain an organized environment.
  
  
• Document and report daily tasks accurately.
  
  
• Act responsibly and quickly in emergencies.
  
  
• Comply with the care plan established by the Nursing Supervisor.
  
  
• Immediately report any unusual changes in customer behavior or status.
  
  
• Provide companionship and encourage the socialization of the client to improve their quality of life.

• Ability to perform all essential functions of the position with or without accommodations.
  
  
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation available daily.
  
  
• Compassionate, empathetic attitude with a high sense of responsibility.
  
  
• Availability for flexible shifts: day, night, weekend.
  
  
• Minimum 1-year experience in healthcare, hospitality, or home care.
  
  
• Clear understanding of the care plan and its associated tasks.
  
  
• Ability to ask pertinent questions during training.
  
  
• High school diploma or equivalent.
  
  
• Experience with durable medical equipment (walker, wheelchair, hospital bed, lifts – e.g. Hoyer Lift).
  
  

• Adaptable according to the customer's needs.
  
  
• Shifts available: days, afternoons, weekends and nights.
